Our featured member of the month is Vicki Bender!
Vicki has been a member at CSFC for almost 2 years. Vicki pursues staying mentally and physically fit through working out and meditating. She describes the importance of living a healthy lifestyle that is composed of physical exercise, a good diet, and a positive attitude towards life and everything it throws at you. Likewise, she explained the importance of regularly reevaluating your fitness goals to tailor them to your body as it ages and changes over the years. Vicki loves pursuing an active lifestyle even outside of the gym and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and biking. Vicki’s advice to those starting their fitness journey is this:
Start with healthy eating habits and set attainable goals for yourself. Never make excuses for why you shouldn’t work out but always ask yourself why you SHOULD workout. She’s never regretted a workout and you won’t either.
Vicki says CSFC is her favorite gym she’s ever been to throughout her life and we’re just as happy that Vicki is one of our members. Her dedication to a positive mindset and fitness inspires us and those around her. #csfcjoliet
